王良虎，男，字添翼，号凯风，祖籍安徽安庆。当代著名书法家，中国书法家协会顾问，中国文联荣誉委员，享受国务院特殊津贴。书法大师王学仲教授的关门弟子。

中央美术学院中国画与书法学院、中国美术学院书法系客座教授，中国国家博物馆特聘研究员，人民美术出版社书法顾问。上海榜书研究院名誉院长，世界华人书画家收藏家协会名誉会长，央视CCTV高清晰综艺娱乐频道书画艺术顾问，教育部书法教材编委会副主任，中国文联艺术指导委员会顾问等。《香港特别行政区文学艺术界联合会名誉主席》，俄罗斯国立艺术研究院名誉院长，瑞士皇家艺术学院终身院士，大英博物馆中国首席艺术顾问等，《联合国教科文组织终身名誉主席》，联合国特邀观察员，欧洲文联名誉主席等。

中国教育电视台“水墨丹青杰出艺术人物奖”，中国书法家协会“优秀书法家”，“书法兰亭终身成就奖”，中国文联“终身成就奖（并被聘为中国文联签约艺术家），中央文史研究馆“最高人文社会科学奖”，国家文化和旅游部“中国书法非遗功勋奖、文艺泰斗丰碑奖”，中宣部、新华社“国家和平艺术功勋”奖。并获“法国艺术与文学骑士勋章”奖，欧盟“欧洲文化艺术终身成就奖”等奖项。被中国文联、全国党校授予“50年党龄艺术楷模”，中南海国礼中心“特聘国礼艺术家”，“中国知识产权文化大使”，“国际中国公益事业大典形象大使”、2021年11月被央媒组委会授予“百城百家颂百年著名书法家”荣誉，2023年被外交部授予“中国外交艺术形象大使”，同年全球华人中秋联谊会上被授予“最具影响力人民艺术家”，年底全国非遗大会上被授予“十四五”中国非遗（书法）创新人物、全国第一批非遗创新人才”，并为其工作室授牌“全国第一批非物质文化遗产传承基地”，且授予“国务院国礼艺术大师”，2024年受邀北京地铁主题巡展题写巜文化中国》，向祖国献礼。

曾先后在法国、英国、美国、俄罗斯、白俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦、乌克兰、日本、韩国、泰国、匈牙利、新加坡等国家以及在全国政协大礼堂、北京荣宝斋美术馆等场所举办书法作品展，在世博园、北京徐悲鸿纪念馆等场所举办作品联展。

Wang Liang‑hu, courtesy name Tianyi, art name Kaifeng, traces his ancestral home to Anqing, Anhui Province. He is a renowned contemporary calligrapher, Advisor to the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Honorary Member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC), and a recipient of the Special Government Allowance issued by the State Council of China. He is the last‑discipline disciple of Professor Wang Xuezhong, a distinguished master of Chinese calligraphy.

He works as a Visiting Professor at the School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) and the Calligraphy Department of China Academy of Art (CAA), specially‑appointed Research Fellow at the National Museum of China, and Calligraphy Advisor for People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. Moreover, he holds multiple important positions: Honorary President of the Shanghai Large‑Character Calligraphy Research Institute, Honorary Chairman of the Worldwide Chinese Calligraphers, Painters and Collectors Association, Calligraphy‑Art Advisor for CCTV High‑Definition Variety Channel, Deputy Director of the Calligraphy Textbook Compilation Committee under the Ministry of Education of China, and Advisor to the Art Steering Committee of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

Besides, he serves as Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Honorary President of the Russian State Academy of Arts, Lifetime Academician of the Royal Academy of Arts Switzerland, Chief Chinese Art Advisor of the British Museum, Lifetime Honorary President of UNESCO, Invited Observer of the United Nations, and Honorary President of European Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

He has received a great number of authoritative domestic and international awards and honors. They include the Outstanding Art Figure Award of Ink‑Wash and Painting issued by China Education Television, Outstanding Calligrapher awarded by the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Lanting Lifetime Achievement Award in Chinese Calligraphy, the Lifetime Achievement Award from China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (he was also appointed a contracted artist of CFLAC), the Top Prize for Humanities and Social Sciences from the Central Research Institute of Culture and History, the Meritorious Contribution Award for Intangible‑Cultural‑Heritage Calligraphy and the Literary Giant Monument Award granted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, and the National Peace and Art Meritorious‑Person Title jointly conferred by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Xinhua News Agency.

Furthermore, he was awarded Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) by France and the European Cultural‑Art Lifetime Achievement Award issued by the European Union.

He has been titled Art Model for 50‑Year Party‑Members jointly by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC, specially‑appointed State‑Gift Artist of Zhongnanhai State‑Gift Center, China Intellectual Property‑Culture Ambassador, and Image Ambassador for the International Chinese Public‑Welfare Ceremony.

In November 2021, he was honored as the Famous Calligrapher of “One Hundred Artists across One Hundred Cities for Centennial Glory” by the organizing committee of central‑state media. In 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China appointed him as China Diplomatic‑Cultural Image Ambassador. In the same year, he was presented with the title of the Most Influential People’s Artist at the Global Overseas Chinese Mid‑Autumn Friendship Gathering. Later in this year’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference, he was recognized as an Innovative Figure in Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage (Calligraphy) for the 14th Five‑Year‑Plan Period and one of China’s First‑Batch Intangible‑Cultural‑Heritage Innovative Talents. His studio was officially licensed as one of China’s First‑Batch Inheritance Bases for Intangible Cultural Heritage, and he was conferred the title of State‑Council‑Appointed State‑Gift Art Master.

In 2024, he was invited to inscribe the work Cultural China for the theme exhibition across Beijing Subway as a tribute to the motherland.

He has held solo calligraphy exhibitions in France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Hungary, Singapore and other countries. He has also hosted personal exhibitions in the Auditorium of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Beijing Rongbaozhai Art Museum. Additionally, he has participated in joint exhibitions at the World Horticultural Expo and the Xu Beihong Memorial Hall in Beijing.
